Nearby Crystal Lake is within hiking and biking distance, and offers a place for a cool splash in summer. There is a public beach, boating, and store, or cast a line off the dock like the young lad at right.

Nature watching, exploring the countryside, or relaxing in the hot tub on your patio are other options for fun and relaxation.

Winter

There is lots to do in winter in and around The Bumble B&B. We help arrange old-fashioned horse-drawn sleigh rides, or you can use the contemporary horsepower of a snowmobile. The countryside is ideal for showshoeing or cross-country skiing.

Winter may be brisk, but there are lots of ways to stay warm and active before settling down for a quiet evening by the fire, and a sound sleep.
